Refunds and cancellation
In one paragraph. Molvi Plus is bought through the App Store, so Apple takes the payment, and Apple handles cancellations and refunds. Cancel in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions: you keep access to the end of the period you paid for, and nothing is charged after that. For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If anything went wrong on our side, write to hello@molvi.app as well and we will back your request.
Cancelling
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Molvi → Cancel Subscription. In the app, Profile → Cancel subscription asks one optional question (skip it if you like) and opens the same page. There is no discount offer and nothing stands between you and cancelling.
What happens next:
- Your paid days stay yours. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not take back the period you already paid for. Plus keeps working until that period ends, and the app shows you the exact date.
- Reports you already earned stay readable. When a subscription ends you can still open every analysis you have received. Charging again to read work that was already paid for is not something we will do.
- Deleting your Molvi account does not cancel the subscription. Apple keeps billing until you cancel it in Settings, so cancel first.
- You can subscribe again later.
Refunds
Apple processes every payment for Molvi, so only Apple can return one; we cannot send money back to your card ourselves. To ask:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Choose “Request a refund”, pick the reason, and select the Molvi charge.
Apple decides the request, and the money returns to the payment method on your Apple ID. How long it then takes to appear is up to Apple and your bank.
When we will back your request
Write to hello@molvi.app as well, with the date of the charge, and we will support the refund with Apple and make it right on our side when:
- you were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling;
- the service was broken or unavailable for a meaningful part of the period, or an exercise you were paying for stopped working;
- a charge was not yours, for example someone else used your device.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page reduces a right you have by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another place with a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right for distance contracts, you keep that right in full, exercised through Apple as the seller.
How to reach us
Email hello@molvi.app. Tell us the email you sign in with and roughly when the charge was taken; that is enough for us to find it.
